Join Dr. Gray Matter and the Zone Blitzers, a group of local and regional musicians, music therapists, scientists and dreamers, for a benefit concert to raise funds for students in Springfield’s Zone 1 who would like to participate in musical programs at their schools, but lack the resources for doing so. Brentwood Christian Church and Central Assembly of God have teamed up to raise money for this important cause, and this event at Brentwood is one avenue for raising funds for this joint project.

We know, from a scientific viewpoint, that children’s brains develop differently if they learn to play an instrument. Many of the members of the band are scientists and music therapists who work with patients and clients daily, using music to bring about transformation. Brain development, the sense of belonging to a group, the sheer joy of playing and learning something new, ALL support children having a better chance of rewriting their story and having a hand up in life.

This concert will blend popular music with a spiritual message and will raise funds for students who would like to participate in musical programs at their school but lack the resources for doing so.

Let’s come together to help these students have all the resources they need to better learn and achieve through their participation in the transformative power of music. Buy your tickets now for an evening of great fun that’s for an even greater cause.

Tickets are $10 per person (or $30 per family).
Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
