Update from Kids’ Club

Another update from Jessica Robbins, Kid’s Club Volunteer Leader (Feb. 2):

Wow!  The kids had another fantastic night!  We wrapped up our Creation unit with an art and building night.  We finished our creation story books, dot painted on butcher paper, and built with Legos.  We have some amazingly talented kids.
Next week kids can look forward to a one week unit on caring for God’s creation.  We will explore the world of Dr. Seuss’s The Lorax and learn many ways we can help take care of the environment.
Kids Club would like to ask folks to save paper towel and toilet paper tubes and glass baby food jars with lids for some future projects.
Thanks to all our kids for another great night! We learned more about God’s creation, made paper plate animals, built ice sculptures, designed structures with K-Nex, and enjoyed a rousing game of pop the penguin.
Kids can look forward to another exciting night next Wednesday.  We will be finishing our creation books and will have art and building stations.
