Join us at Springfield’s Juneteenth celebration this Saturday!

Please join us this Saturday, June 18, at Silver Springs Park ( 1300 N. National Ave. ) as we celebrate the anniversary of the end of slavery in the United States. Enjoy beautiful artwork presented by Springfield Public School art students, as well as live art performances including singing and the spoken word – and be sure to stop by the Brentwood booth! Highlights of the day will include:

Noon – 4:00 pm – Celebration in Silver Springs Park

5:00 – 6:00 pm – Free screening of the documentary “Many Thousand Gone” at Drury University Diversity Center ( 803 N. Washington Ave. )

7:00 pm – After Party at the C-Street Events Center ( 306 W. Commercial St .)
